Become an IAN Associate
Association/Affiliation Guidelines/Procedures:
Associate will be an ELITE Agent/Agency in good standing with Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company and all their affiliate organizations and companies.
Associate Agent/Agency and Nationwide Insurance Mutual Insurance Company will have a current and valid:
Associate Agent/Agency will submit the following documents to Insurance Agency Network for review and consideration by IAN administration:
IAN will review the information submitted by Associate Agent/Agency for qualification of Association with Insurance Agency Network.
IAN will prepare and forward a Performa Report to the Associate Agent/Agency for review and consideration. The IAN report provides calculations for the opportunity to improve and/or maximize monthly and annual compensation income under the “new” Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company ELITE Partnership Program for:
IAN will prepare and forward the Association Agreement to the Associate Agent/Agency for consideration, review and approval by the owners, principals or officers of the Associate Agent/Agency. The Association Agreement is required to be sent back to IAN for final approval. Final approval will be evidenced by the Association Agreement signed by IAN Administration and returned to Associate Agent/Agency for their records.
Paperwork must be submitted to IAN prior to the 15th of the month for the increased commission compensation to be effective the 1st of the following month. IAN will forward the completed Association Agreement to the appropriate Regional or Home Office Staff of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company for processing.
Increased compensation payments owed to the Associate Agent/Agency will be made in compliance with the ELITE Agreement, or addendums, amendments or endorsements in effect at the time of their Association Agreement with IAN.
Associate Agent/Agency and Nationwide Insurance Mutual Insurance Company will have a current and valid:
- Nationwide Agency Agreement.
- ELITE Agency Agreement.
Associate Agent/Agency will submit the following documents to Insurance Agency Network for review and consideration by IAN administration:
- Summary Agency Production Report for the previous month.
- Personal Lines Variable Compensation Statement for the previous year, or previous month, if available.
- Commercial Lines Profit Share Statement for the previous year, or previous month, if available.
- Completed New Associate Form.
IAN will review the information submitted by Associate Agent/Agency for qualification of Association with Insurance Agency Network.
