Michael F Haller, CIC – Chief Administration Officer
Mike began his Insurance Career in 1980 with Safeco Insurance Company in the Claims Department becoming the first “Claims Specialist” to be designated by the company. In 1987 he left Safeco Insurance Company to re-establish his Professional Sales Career as an Account Executive with a local Independent Insurance Agency. In 1992 he opened a start-up Independent Agency, Insurance Services of Washington, operating today under the leadership of his daughters.
Mike is very proud of the consistency and stability in his life; having been married to Margarita for 37 years, lived in the same house, they built, for 34 years and been in business together for 28 years. His insurance knowledge and experience provide the necessary tools to make informed and sound analysis of available Insurance Products, build meaning and lasting relationships and implement sound business decisions.

Eric Granberg - Chief Operating Officer
Eric began his carrier with KPMG as an auditor and has worked and consulted in various industries performing the duties of Chief Financial Officer, Chief Information Officer, Chief Operations Officer and Sales Director. He has a proven track record of taking ownership, driving growth, planning and development.
He has a strong understanding of GAAP, financial modeling, process improvement, systems integration, operations, and sales gained from his experience in auditing and consulting. Extensive background using Microsoft GP, QuickBooks, Excel, SQL, and other analytical tools.
Eric enjoys backpacking, snowshoeing, skiing, hiking, and biking in the “Great Northwest”. On many weekends he can be found on the water enjoying the sun in Eastern Washington.

Craig Phair – Senior Vice President – Associate Development
Craig started his insurance career at Klamath Insurance Center in 2003, after graduating from college. He initially worked as the receptionist while he studied to become a licensed agent and eventually became one of the owners in 2007. In 2012 he became the majority shareholder of Klamath Insurance Center. Craig and his partners purchased Insurance Marketplace, Inc. in Medford, Oregon in 2015.
Craig and his staff truly believe each client should understand why they have insurance and what it will provide them if the worst should happen. Craig has been married to Molly for 19 years and together they have 4 children. He enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his children in various sports, spending time volunteering in Church service and working to take care of his clients and employees. He truly treasures his marriage, family, faith, and the relationships he has been able to build with friends, clients, and employees.

Ron Hammerberg, CIC – Commercial Lines Business Consultant
Ron purchased what was known as First Iowa Insurance Agency, Inc in 1987. They offered commercial and personal property/casualty insurance, group and individual health, and individual life coverage and services to clients throughout Iowa and the Central United States. They also provided commercial safety, loss control and OSHA compliance consulting services. First Iowa Insurance Agency, Inc was acquired by Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., the 4 th largest Insurance Brokerage firm in the world, in March of 2019.
As a principal with First Iowa, whether working with his own clients or assisting the staff with theirs, Ron was involved with each client to ensure they were completely satisfied with the services they received from First Iowa Insurance. First Iowa’s goal was to be not only responsive but proactive in the needs of their clients. Ron has invested more than 40 years in providing businesses the insurance protection they needed and required and key tools to manage and grow their companies. His objective has always been to provide them with the best property and casualty insurance products as well as strategic employee benefit plans.

Theodore (Ted) H Wease – Western region Sales Manager
Ted entered the insurance industry in 1985 in the “New Agent Program” with Farmers Insurance Company. The “New Agent Program” provided good training in marketing, sales, and knowledge of insurance products. In 1989 he went to work for Allstate Insurance, where he developed a unique mass marketing program utilizing Sears client contact information to generate insurance leads.
In 1993 he joined his father’s Independent Agency. The Independent Agency philosophy and operations allowed Ted to combine the sales training and marketing skills he developed working with the Farmers and Allstate. He found the flexibility and broad appetite of the Independent Insurance Carriers enabled him to assist his clients and prospects to navigate the ever-changing insurance marketplace. In 1996 he took over the family agency. 1998 Ted joined Arnold Bruce and Doerfler, Inc and in 2006 he purchased the A. O. Bruce book and became a partner in Arnold Bruce and Doerfler, Inc.
Ted enjoys flying, hunting, spending time with his family and grandkids and of course giving his friends grief on the golf course.

Kim Simonian – Western Region Sales Manager
Kim began his insurance career as an underwriter with Industrial Indemnity Insurance in 1977. In 1980 he went to work for Allied Insurance, which was purchased by Nationwide Insurance in 1999. In 1986 Kim helped write the original AIDCO agreement and signed the first three agents in the nation to the AIDCO program. During his career with Nationwide Kim was named National Sales Manager of the Year seven times. Kim retired from Nationwide in December 2017 after 37 years of service with the company.
Three months before retirement Kim became familiar with Insurance Agency Network. He advised several Nationwide Insurance agents to look at IAN because of the value of the group. After 11 months of retirement, being a firm believer in Insurance Agency Network, Kim and IAN began working together to offer the benefits of Association to other agents in the Western Region of Nationwide Insurance .
Kim has been married to Denise for 37 years. They have two daughters and four grandchildren that keep them busy. He looks forward to the grandchildren sleepovers, family get-togethers and BBQ’s. Kim also enjoys hunting, fishing, and golfing.
Scott Shoen – Accountant -CPA
Scott began his Accounting his career at Grant Thornton in 1990. 1n 1991 he formed his own CPA practice. His scope of practice includes business formation, general business and finance consulting, income tax planning and preparation, business valuation, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and risk management.
In 2001 Scott developed a succession plan for Arnold Bruce & Doerfler Insurance Agency. The agency traces its roots back to Gerlinger, Richards & Company founded in 1911. Scott purchased Arnold Bruce & Doerfler in 2004 and today they provide comprehensive insurance and bonding solutions, for both personal and commercial clients.
Scott is married to Jill Shoen, née Doerfler. Their son, Calen, is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Geo
Technical Engineering. The family enjoy motorcycling and alpine skiing as a family. Scott is active in
the community and is a crisis counseling volunteer with the National Suicide Hotline and the Veteran's Crisis Line.
